The Egyptian Armed Forces troops left here Monday for Saudi Arabia to take part in joint training exercise East Thunder in the presence of a number of Arab and Islamic countries.

Such exercise with Saudi Arabia helps the military to gain experience with new equipment, and develop the capacity to operate under higher rates of efficiency and combat readiness.

The several days' training exercise confirms the historic and strategic military ties between Egypt and the Arab and Islamic countries.
