Arming officers and personnel of the Armed Forces and civil police is the only way to defeat fourth generation wars encountering Egypt at present, military spokesman Mohamed Samir said.

Efficient officers are the ones who protect their nations unlike inefficient officers whose nations are the ones that get disintegrated and fall part like what happened to some sisterly countries in the region, Samir said during a seminar organized at the Central Security Sector in Cairo's Darrasa district on Wednesday.

Egypt is currently facing fourth generation wars that work on destroying nations through spreading rumors and provoking division, the spokesman said.
