Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi has described the Egyptian people as the "real power" of Egypt and its Armed Forces.
The Egyptian Armed Forces realize the magnitude of hazards and challenges facing the Egyptian people, Sobhi said on Sunday during the opening of a number of specialized branches of the Army's Moral Affairs Department.
This comes as part of our endeavors to maintain the Armed Forces' combat efficiency and enhance the ability to face challenges threatening the state, he added.
