Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Mahmoud Hijazi led a military funeral Saturday held for an officer killed during demolishing smuggling tunnels near borders with the Gaza Strip.
Hijazi extended condolences to the family of the officer.
The funeral was attended by scores of senior army officers.
