Defense Minister Sedky Sobhy dispatched on Wednesday a high-profile military delegation to Al Washia village in Dakahlia governorate to offer condolences to the family of the conscript who was killed in a terrorist attack in North Sinai.

The military delegation conveyed Soby's condolences to the family of the martyr.

In a telephone call, the minister informed the martyr's family that the Armed forces appreciate sacrifices made by the slain draftee.

The defense minister vowed to take revenge on the killers of the martyrs.

For his part, Chief-of-Staff Mahmoud Hegazy phoned the martyr's family to offer condolences and to appreciate sacrifices of the martyr and all army's soldiers to uproot terrorism.
