Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief and Defense Minister Colonel General Sedqi Sobhi on Friday congratulated Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the Egyptian people on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the January 25 revolution.

The minister said the armed forces would spare no efforts to meet their duty and are ready to sacrifice their lives to keep the homeland and the Egyptians secured.

Armed Forces Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazi sent a similar cable to the president.
