A military source said that the army units gained full control over the area of Old Sajna Neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad after eliminating dozens of militants, among them non-Syrian nationals. The source added on Monday that terrorists Ammar Abu Sarya, a Jordanian terrorist heading the so-called "al-Tawhid brigade", and Abdul-Salam Taqtaq were identified among the dead. Sources told SANA that the army advanced apace in Nawa city from many paths, adding that dozens of dead and injured militants are accumulated in the militants' field hospitals, with the militants asking for help from the armed groups in Daraa city and its Western countryside. They said the army completed encirclement of Nawa, with infantry and armored units advancing in its neighborhoods. The army seized control over the Eastern neighborhood and is moving towards the National Hospital on the Western-Northern side in the city. More than one-third of Nawa citizens, estimated at 135 thousands, were displaced by the armed groups. The city is the biggest among Daraa cities. In Daraa city, the army units killed and injured dozens of militants who tried to attack the city.
