The army spokesman denied on Thursday media reports that two terrorists were killed in a mine blast in North Sinai.

Media talked about two terrorist being killed when one of the mines surrounding a security checkpoint in North Sinai went off while the terrorists were trying to attack the checkpoint.

One of the stray animals in the area tampered with the mine, causing it to explode, the spokesman said. But no terrorists were killed, he added.
