The Army destroyed 22 tunnels in Rafah city of North Sinai and seized communication devices, military spokesman Mohamed Samir said on Sunday.
In a security campaign last week, 67 kg of Banjo (local marijuana) were seized in North Sinai, 592 kg in South Sinai and two tons in Hurghada city.
The forces also seized 12 shotguns in Hurghada during the wide-scale campaign.
Meanwhile, 126 rifles, 2,375 guns, two shotguns and a huge amount of ammunition as well as five kg of Hashish were seized in Siwa area.
