Armed Forces men, with strong will and strong determination, are going forward with protecting the nation against plots of evil and terror powers, Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief and Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi said.

During an army celebration marking al Mawlid al Nabawi (Prophet Muhammed's birthday anniversary), Sobhi, in a speech given on his behalf by his assistant Magdy Hegazy, said Armed Forces men are deterring anyone trying to undermine Egypt’s land and its people’s safety.

The Egyptian people have to be united and work hard to achieve the nation’s progress, he said.

He greeted the Egyptian people and army and police men on the blessed occasion.
