Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi has ordered distribution of aid kits among needy families in Sinai ahead of the new school year and the great feast.

The army is keen on providing aid to the people in the peninsula before celebrating the Greater Bairam and the new school year.

Areas hit with the terror acts were given the priority during the army's humanitarian campaign.

At least, 3,635 food aid boxes, 635 blankets along with stationary tools were distributed and a sum of one EGP million were provided to a number of families.
