A total of 74 terrorists were killed Saturday and 52 suspects arrested during an extensive operation in North Sinai by the Armed Forces.

Units of police and army forces continued Operation Right of the Martyr launched to eliminate terrorist elements in Rafah, Sheikh Zuweid and Arish, North Sinai.

As many as 31 hotbeds were destroyed, 16 explosive devices defused and amounts of ammunition and weapons seized.

Also, 15 vehicles and 27 unlicensed motorcycles were destroyed.

As many as 45 underground shelters were also destroyed.

The army announced on September 8 it launched an extensive operation dubbed the Right of the Martyr in the volatile North Sinai region to root out terror insurgents.
