The Armed Forces on Friday mourned the death of an officer and a conscript who were killed on Thursday when an explosive device hit their vehicle in southern Arish city in North Sinai.
"They were killed while fulfilling their duty," military spokesman Mohamed Samir, said.
The bomb went off while a patrol of two police vehicles were passing, killing an officer and a conscript and injuring another one.
