Head of the Bar Association Sameh Ashour on Sunday expressed appreciation for President Abdel Fattah El Sisi over his apology for all Egyptian lawyers.

Earlier in the day, Sisi apologized for all Egyptian lawyers after an incident in which a police officer insulted a lawyer last week in Damietta.

The president's apology is appreciated, welcomed and cherished by the Egyptian lawyers, Ashour noted.
