The Palestinians desire that Egypt assumes its leading historical role to reach a comprehensive solution for their cause, the secretary-general of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) told MENA Saturday.
Interviewed by MENA correspondent in Amman, Nayef Hawatmeh said all the Palestinian people were aspiring that Egypt could put an end to the widespread chaos, violence, explosions in the country to immediately assume its historical role in supporting the Palestinians to restore their rights including Al-Quds.
Hawatmeh considered the Egyptian national security an integral part of the Arab national security.
