Assistant of the President of the Republic, Brig. Abdul-RAHMAN al-Saddiq Al-Mahdi, received Wednesday in his office at the Republican Palace the leading figure at the National Congress, Dr. Nafie Ali Nafie.
In a press statement after the meeting, Dr. Nafie said that the meeting came as part of the contacts between the political forces to discuss major national issues toward achieving a consensus conducive to peace and stability in the country.
