Attacks on Alexandria electricity pylons

Security forces have foiled attempts to detonate two transmission towers in Giza and Alexandria.
In Kerdasa city of Giza, a homemade bomb attached to an electricity pylon was dismantled after residents reported it to the police.
Another bomb attached to an electricity pylon was defused in Alexandria.
Egypt's electricity grid has come under frequent attacks by unknown assailants targeting electricity substations, towers and circuits in several parts of the country.
Security forces have stepped up their efforts to foil such attempts.
