Border guards in Marsa Matrouh foiled an attempt by 150 persons, including two Sudanese nationals, to sneak into Libya via the Egyptian borders, west of Salloum City.

Matrouh Security Director General Anani Hamouda received a report on the arrest of 150 persons while attempting to illegally cross to the Libya side via borders.

The detainees were referred to prosecution to be interrogated.
