Matrouh security forces, in cooperation with border guards, foiled on Saturday an attempt by 18 people, including two Sudanese nationals, to infiltrate into Libya.

The would-be illegal immigrants tried to sneak through the Egyptian-Libyan desert border area of Salloum into Libya.

All legal measures were taken against the detainees.
