An attempt to smuggle 48 ancient coins was foiled on Monday at Cairo International Airport.
The antique coins were found in the luggage of an Egyptian passenger who was traveling to Greece.
The coins date back to different historical eras.
The ancient coins were confiscated for the Antiquities Ministry.
