The African Union announced its desire to send a mission to follow up the upcoming parliamentary elections in Egypt.
In a press release, the Foreign Ministry said the mission is expected to include 50-60 members who will be chosen from elections management bodies and African NGOs.
The ministry said the High Elections Commission was notified to take a decision concerning AU desire to send an African mission.
