Awqaf Minister Mohamd Mokhtar underlined on Friday the importance of cleanliness of the community and the River Nile.
In a released statement, Mokhtar said that the Islamic civilization and religion call for such a civilized attitude.
Islam bans polluting water and place in order not to harm people, he said.
Friday's sermon this week will be about cleanliness in Islam to maintain a civilized and secured community.
