Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa called on religious, political, educational and cultural institutions to work together to rebuild the Arab citizen’s way of thinking to counter terrorism.
In a statement, the minister stressed the importance of benefiting from the energy and enthusiasm of the youths in useful work to prevent armed terrorist militias from luring them.
If mosques, churches, schools, universities, youth clubs and cultural centers carried out their duties properly, terrorist groups will not have a chance to attract the youths to their ranks, he added.
