Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa condemned on Sunday the coward attack that targeted his residence in his hometown in Beni Suef governorate.
In a press release, he asserted that such attacks will only deepen his faith in God and the importance of Egypt's confrontation with terrorism.
The minister is expected to hold a press conference Sunday afternoon to expound details concerning the attack and those behind it.
He is also expected to underline the ministry's commitment to confront terrorism and Takfiri groups.
