Awqaf Minister Mohamed Gomaa Sunday called on Egyptians to stand by Army and police personnel in the fight against terrorism.

In a statement, Gomaa called for exposing all terrorists, traitors and all supporters of terror.

The minister also condemned the terrorist attack that targeted an army checkpoint in North Sinai Saturday, killing three servicemen and wounding six others.

He offered condolences to the victims' families and wished speedy recovery for the injured.
