Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa is pressing for efforts to protect Egyptian youth and the society against misleading terrorist groups.

He stressed the need to act quickly to detect what he called "electronic brigades" of those terrorist groups before they deceive Egyptian youth.

"We're racing against time to unveil the nature of those groups ... and their lies," Gomaa said in a statement on Friday. 

The minister also called for firm action against terrorists who regularly attack people and national figures and raise doubts about important achievements in the country to discourage people and incite them to revolt. 

He trusted the good judgement of the Egyptian people who is well aware of plots woven by the "enemies" through the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group and its electronic brigades.
