Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa participation in an international conference titled "Religions against Terrorism"

Egyptian minister of Awqaf Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa has stressed the importance of eradicating terrorism, warning that terror acts spread in the poorest and socially fragile communities.

He underlined that attempts to impose an economic blockade on several countries which support extremism and serve extremists. 

In statements to MENA on Tuesday on the sidelines of his participation in an international conference titled "Religions against Terrorism", currently in session in Kazakhstan, the minister called for paying attention to the poor and marginalized classes.

He also called for achieving the highest degree of social and human justice and fighting terrorism and illegal immigration.

The minister is scheduled to meet Senate Chairman of the Parliament of Kazakhstan and the conference's secretary Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev later in the day.
