Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa has thanked President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi for appointing him head of the pilgrimage mission for the Hijra year 1435.
Gomaa, in a statement Tuesday, vowed to exert utmost effort to serve Egyptian pilgrims.
He said he will coordinate with all ministries and bodies concerned with the pilgrimage.
