Minister of Awqaf (religious endowments) Mohamed Mukhtar Gomaa asserted on Wednesday that "sleeper cells of extremist groups" will not be allowed to penetrate into ministerial activities.

"We realize well the nature of these groups and its schemes to reconstruct themselves and penetrate into institutions anew with the same policies and plans they had used in the past," Gomaa told MENA in exclusive statements.
