The Awqaf Ministry decided Saturday to launch a cleaning campaign of mosques nationwide, starting on Thursday.
In a statement, the ministry said all Awqaf officials would take part in the campaign.
The statement added that citizens also could participate in the campaign in coordination with mosques' imams.
