Al Ahzar, the world's most prestigious Sunni authority, has denounced the attack on military cadets while as they waited to board a bus in Kafr el Sheikh.

Two people were killed and four others injured in a bomb explosion near Kafr el Sheikh Stadium on Wednesday.

Such cowardly terror attacks aim to destabilize Egypt, yet it will fail, Al Azhar said in a statement.

It extended condolences to the martyrs' families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
