Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed El Tayyeb has greeyed the Egyptian people, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi on the anniversary of the 23rd of July revolution.

In a statement on Wednesday, Tayyeb praised a great role played by Egypt's army to maintain the stability and security of the nation over long years.

Tayyeb greeted the army personnel for their sacrifices.

He wished Egypt further progress and prosperity in all fields.

On July 23, Egypt will mark the 62th anniversary of the 1952 revolution overthrew the monarchy.
