Al-Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el-Tayeb on Tuesday received Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri and his accompanying delegation.
The two sides discuss coordinating efforts to confront terrorism and Al-Azhar's national role in this regard.
The Grand Imam briefs Shoukri on Al-Azhar's role in spreading the moderate Islam model and confronting terrorist ideas in Egypt and abroad.
