Al-Azhar mourned the victims of the burnt furniture factory in Obour city of Qalyoubiya governorate earlier on Tuesday.

It urged the bodies concerned to swiftly launch an investigation and announce the outcome publicly.

It offered its condolences for the families of the victims and wished speedy recovery for the injured people.

As many as 19 persons were killed and 22 others injured in a fire that erupted in the furniture factory, according to the Health Ministry.
