Al-Azhar on Saturday expressed support to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, army and police in their fight against terrorism.
In a statement late today, Al-Azhar called on the Egyptian people and institutions to cooperate in in defeating terrorism.
Al-Azhar is aware of the challenges experienced and faced by Egypt at the current stage, the statement read.
