Al-Azhar will issue a supplementary document to the current document that discards violence and terrorism, Al-Azhar Undersecretary Abbas Shoman has told MENA following an anti-terrorism conference held in Cairo.
The two-day conference titled "Azhar in the Face of Terrorism and Extremism" concluded its sessions on Thursday.
As many as 600 Muslim scholars representing 120 countries and heads of the eastern Churches participated in the conference.
