Grand Sheikh of Al Azhar Ahmed Tayyeb met on Sunday with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas for talks over the developments of the Palestinian issue.
Abbas updated Tayyeb on the conditions of the Palestinians under the arbitrary Israeli practices, Arab efforts to support the Palestinian issue and the decision to internationalize the Palestinian issue and resort to the Security Council.
A press release over the talks is to be issued later in the day.
