Iraqi forces killed 40 Daesh militants in Ramadi and Fallujah in the restive Anbar province, the Iraqi news agency reported on Sunday.
The agency said Iraqi tribesmen helped the Iraqi forces.
The Iraqi army, backed by tribes and Kurdish fighters on the ground, is fighting Daesh militants who are controlling many swaths of Iraqi territories.
