Iraq is still committed to dialogue and diplomacy to solve disputes with neighboring countries, said Iraq's Parliament Speaker Salim al Jabouri, referring to the current Iraqi-Turkish deadlock.

In a meeting with an Iraqi academic delegation, al Jabouri stressed the importance of restoring security in the region, pointing out that no country should interfere in the others' affairs.

On December 3, approximately 150 Turkish soldiers were deployed near Mosul to replace training forces already in the area. In addition, about 25 tanks were also deployed to the region.
