Bahraini Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa has hosted a reception ceremony on the occasion of the Kingdom's celebrations of its National Days on December 16 and 17, marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 43rd Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 15th Anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa’s Accession to the Throne.
It was attended by senior Egyptian officials, Commanders of the armed forces, diplomats, representative of Al Azhar Mosque Grand Imam, representative of Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Episcopate, businessmen, media persons, journalists and Bahraini students.
The audience congratulated the ambassador on the occasion, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
