Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD), has recently released two new books in the framework of reinforcing political awareness and disseminating the culture of human rights and democratic practices, in addition to activating the objectives of the Royal reforms.
The first book (Political Culture .. Human Rights) focuses on the steps taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain toward bolstering human rights. While the second book (Political Culture .. Elections) sheds light on the development stages of elections in Bahrain as the main image of the practice of democracy.
HM the King's Advisor for Media, BIPD's Chairman, Nabeel bin Yacoub Al-Hamar, stressed the new publications feature the political and human rights development in Bahrain.
He underlined Bahrain's keenness on supporting and protecting human rights through the dissemination of the culture of human rights. Adding that the elections have promoted the citizen's political right and citizenship.
He underscored the development made under the Royal reform in all fields, including the parliamentary and municipal elections held in 2002,2006, 2010 and 2014 that have embodied the people's will in choosing their parliamentary and municipal representatives.
