His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today ratified and issued Law 25 for this year, amending Article 363 of the Penal Code issued by Decree-law 15 / 1976.
Under the amendment, the last paragraph of the article will be as follows:
"If the threat is accompanied by a request or instruction to carry out something, including preventing a person from delivering a testimony or influencing his/her statements in a lawsuit pending investigation or court trial, it shall be considered as an aggravating circumstance."
