Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received the first deputy Speaker, Ali Abdullah Al-Aradi.
His Highness welcomed MP Al-Aradi, praising the role of the Council of Representatives in boosting the Kingdom of Bahrain's democratic process and its enrichment, adding that the Council's efforts in activation of all of its monitoring and legislative tools attest to the extent of successfulness of Bahrain's parliamentary experience, pointing out that the government policy of communicating with MPs will continue to bolster the principles of democracy reliant upon full cooperation between the legislature and the executive branches.
His Highness said that the government remains open to all suggestions, ideas and views tabled by members of parliament (MPs) at the Council of Representatives and believe in their effective contributory role in preserving national accomplishments, defending the homeland and promoting the spirit of citizenship and cohesion among the citizens.
MP Ali Abdullah Al-Aradi thanked His Highness for the reception and keenness on communication with all MPs and listening to them, lauding the government's fruitful cooperation with the Council of Representatives.
