Minister of Interior Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa today received Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla.
The minister stressed the ministry's keenness to contribute to promoting the successful democratic practices in line with the royal reforms.
He said that the new Council of Representatives reflected the people's aspirations.
The Minister highlighted the ministry's procedures in dealing with security issues and the commitment of the police to apply and enforce the law equally and to abide by the principles of human rights.
