His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa praised the efforts of the Bahrain National Committee on Supporting the Palestinian People in Gaza led by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organization (RCO), HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
His Majesty praised the committee's delivering of 80 tonnes of humanitarian aid to our brethren in Gaza Strip within record short time, through good management technique praised by international organisations such as the United Nations (UN), the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Palestinian Refugee Relief Agency UNRWA.
His Majesty lauded the contribution and donations of citizens, residents, establishments and companies in favour of our brethren in Gaza.

His Majesty commended the role of the local media, the Information Affairs Authority (IAA) and international news agencies in clarifying the Kingdom's stances vis-à-vis the just Palestinian cause and obligation to support the Palestinian people in order to establish their independent Palestinian State on their national territories with its capital in the holy city of al-Quds.
On this occasion, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organization (RCO) expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty the King the Honorary President of the Royal Charity Organisation for supporting the RCO and the National Committee. His Highness hailed HM the King's noble supportive stances towards the just Palestinian issue and His Majesty's directives to promptly provide emergency relief assistance to our Palestinian brethren in Gaza which reflects the firm, clear supportive stances.
This came in a letter sent from His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to the CEO of the National Committee in Support of the Palestinian People in Gaza and the RCO's Secretary-General, Dr. Mustafa al-Sayed in the light of completion of delivery of the second consignment of the Kingdom of Bahrain's humanitarian aid to Gaza Strip. His Highness once more called on companies, establishments and banks to contribute to this noble humanitarian work dictated by Islamic teachings and brotherly bonds with our Palestinian brethren and generous Arab traditions for which the Kingdom of Bahrain's people have always been known.
Dr. Mustafa al-Sayed expressed utmost gratitude and appreciation to HM the King for His Majesty's huge support and constant encouragement of the RCO and the National Committee, lauding the constant follow up of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Dr. Mustafa said that the National Committee has completed the first phase of delivering humanitarian assistance by shipping two consignments of medical aid, the provision of foodstuffs through Jordan in cooperation with UNRWA, WHO and Jordan's Royal Charity Organisation for distribution to more than 200,000 displaced Palestinians most of whom took refuge in schools, including the Kingdom of Bahrain's school in Gaza.
