His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Speaker of the Representatives Council Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani and the Chairman of the Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, in the presence of senior state officials.
HRH Premier lauded the dedication and contributions of Al-Dhahrani and Al-Saleh throughout their parliamentary tenures, praising the solid cooperation between the executive and legislative branches during their terms.
He affirmed that the landmark efforts of loyal Bahrainis, who contributed significantly to the kingdom's renaissance and progress, will always be remembered with appreciation and pride.
He wished the Representatives and Shura Councils success in carrying on their roles, along with the government, to achieve the aspirations of the citizens for a more prosperous future.
HRH Premier stressed that continuous cooperation and coordination between the government and the legislature have been essential in consolidating national action and serving the kingdom and its people.
He lauded the candidates' determination to run for elections despite attempts to intimidate them, paying tribute to voters who defied terrorism and showcased, through their ballots, the Bahraini people's high awareness and patriotism.
The Speaker and Shura Council Chairman lauded HRH Premier's constant keenness to enhance cooperation between the two branches, and the crucial role he has played in the kingdom's development progress.
