Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh has stressed the importance of consolidating the existing diplomatic Bahraini-Palestinian relations to serve the Palestinian issue.
Speaking as he met here today the Palestinian Ambassador to Bahrain Taha Mohammed Abdul-Qader, Al Saleh highlighted the kingdom's continuous support to the Palestinian issue, being the first Arab and Islamic cause.
The Palestinian envoy praised the role of the Kingdom, the legislative branch and civil society institutions in backing the Palestinians.
He valued highly Bahrain's historic stances in support of the Palestinian people's rights.
