Shura Council President Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh sent a cable of congratulations to Arab League Secretary-General Dr. Nabeel Al-Arabi on the anniversary of the pan-Arab organization.
He highlighted the pivotal role of the league in in promoting Arab unity amid mounting regional and international challenges and shifts confronting the Arab nation, commended Dr. Al-Arabi for his strenuous efforts to advocate key Arab causes.
Al-Saleh underlined the role of the pan-Arab organization since its establishment, stressing particularly its contribution to the independence of the Arab states, settling disputes and encouraging pan-Arab cooperation.
