Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh has today stressed the crucial role of municipal council sas the cornerstone of modern Bahrain. "Municipal councils represent an essential partner in making key decisions related to infrastructure plans and the conservation of the environment", he said, as he received Northern Municipal Council members led by Chairman Mohammed Khalifa Buhammoud
He described the municipal councils as one of the landmark achievements in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and key pillars of the modern state of Bahrain. He paid tribute to municipal councilors for advocating citizens' interests, spearheading new projects in their constituencies and serving their communities to ensure people's well-being.
