The meeting was attended by Council First Deputy Chairman Ali Al-Aradi, MP Ahmed Qarata and Council Advisory Authority President Dr. Saleh Al-Ghadith
The Speaker urged economic enterprises, businessmen and financiers to assume their community responsibility and launch development projects that serve the country and its citizens.
He underscored the crucial importance of promoting social responsibility as a key benchmark to assess the performance of enterprises, stressing particularly their role within the community.
The meeting centered on the projects and programmes launched by the Regional Social Responsibility Network in Bahrain and abroad to enhance administrative competences and disseminate the culture of social responsibility.
The network hosts on Sunday morning a ceremony in honour of Gulf Cooperation Council officials and experts in charge of orphan care institutions in recognition of their charity works.
